Janice Shack-Marquez
I am a potter who throws porcelain pots with an unconventional twist. I create fun, functional pottery that I hope will make you smile. I love dots and geometric shapes and you'll find them in many of my creations. I was inspired as a little kid when I got the book The Dot and and the Line. More recently, Yayoi Kusama's work has just blown me away. The photo above was taken at her exhibition at the Hirshhorn Museum in DC. All the pots I make are food safe and can go in the dishwasher or microwave if you are so inclined. My aspiration is that you will find joy from the pots I throw.
